The 7th annual Bridging Brown County Networking Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 18th.

There will be a social starting at 5:45 pm followed by dinner at 6:30. Come and enjoy a Live Auction and entertainment after the dinner. Bridging Brown County will also present the Bridge Builder of the Year Award.

Bridging Brown County met with Senator Amy Klobuchar on Sunday, November 22nd. Senator Klobuchar wanted to learn more about Bridging Brown County and how we are working to collaborate and build bridges of communication and understanding across Brown County.

Landowner Questions on Wind Energy Leases

Brown County Economic Development Partners, Inc, in cooperation with Bridging Brown County, Brown County Commissioners, Cities of New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Comfrey, and Hanska have been working together for the past year to develop an Economic Development Initiative “Driving Towards Collaboration”.

The group currently working to bring in presenters on WindEnergy and Landowners. In the meantime we encourage landowners to check out the Windustry website (www.windustry.org). The have several resources for landowners regarding leases/agreements and what questions to ask. Windustry has provided a white paper on the topic which can be downloaded here. Thank you to Windustry for providing this information for our use.
