Bridging Brown County met with Senator Amy Klobuchar on Sunday, November 22nd. Senator Klobuchar wanted to learn more about Bridging Brown County and how we are working to collaborate and build bridges of communication and understanding across Brown County.

Brown County Economic Development Partners, Inc, in cooperation with Bridging Brown County, Brown County Commissioners, Cities of New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Comfrey, and Hanska have been working together for the past year to develop an Economic Development Initiative “Driving Towards Collaboration”.
The group currently working to bring in presenters on WindEnergy and Landowners. In the meantime we encourage landowners to check out the Windustry website (www.windustry.org). The have several resources for landowners regarding leases/agreements and what questions to ask. Windustry has provided a white paper on the topic which can be downloaded here.
